Full-garment modeling, extended reality, and digital media
I'm a PhD student in the NEXT Research Group in the Wilson College of Textiles at NC State. I research digital strategies such as full-garment modeling and virtual reality to improve e-textile system design and manufacturing.
I grew up on the South Shore of Nova Scotia, Canada, and moved to Montreal, Canada for my undergraduate degree in Materials Engineering (McGill). I have lived in both the UK and South Korea for nonwovens and e-textiles internships before coming to Raleigh, North Carolina for my PhD degree at the Wilson College of Textiles.
