I am a textile engineer and researcher interested in how soft-goods can be understood, represented, and designed computationally. My work brings together textile mechanics, simulation, experimental characterization, e-textiles, and digital manufacturing, with a particular interest in the translation between physical and digital materials.
I studied Materials Engineering at McGill University and completed my PhD in Fiber and Polymer Science at North Carolina State University. I am now based in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and work at Advanced Functional Fabrics of America (AFFOA).
